Through careful planning and efficient construction, our specialist team established this functional, modern, and aesthetically-pleasing office for Brendale-based business Tubeworx.
Having recently moved from a site in Clontarf, the tube and pipe fabrication experts found themselves in a spacious, albeit bare-bones location that was hardly fit-for-purpose. With ill-defined areas and tired fixtures, its layout left much to be desired. What it did have though, was potential.
Upon meeting with the owners, their vision of a versatile working environment became clear. We quickly put pen to paper to produce a concept that would bring it to life and allow their staff to perform as optimally as possible. It’s all part of the Fast Fitouts process, which you can see in the infographic below.
One of the top priorities was the installation of new walls and doors. This allowed the otherwise open space to be sectioned off into distinct rooms suitable for general administration, meetings, individual workstations, storage, and entry into the building. An abundance of natural light floods these areas thanks to the liberal use of glass, which creates a sense of openness while retaining privacy and minimising unnecessary distractions. Where plasterboard was used, it was painted in neutral tones to match the homely yet professional aesthetic found throughout.
A dedicated break room was also created downstairs that allows for quick access to the adjoining factory and warehouse. Boasting a modest but well-equipped kitchenette, ample modular seating, and air conditioning, it enables employees to recharge and prepare for the hours ahead in comfort. Data outlets, smoke detectors, and electrical points were installed as required to support the new layout, and the existing lighting and air conditioning was likewise reshuffled.
While individually minor, these alterations culminated in a suitably practical and contemporary fit out. The downtime for Tubeworx was minimal, and they now have everything required to thrive in this new location.
