Modernising Work Environments for Viking Rentals
At Fastfitouts, we recently transformed an outdated space for Viking Rentals into a modern office designed to enhance efficiency and functionality.
Serving the construction industry across Australia, Viking Rentals provides essential services like portable toilets and temporary fencing, making a well organised workspace crucial for their operations.
Our project began with demolishing a 3 m² kitchen to create new toilet facilities, all while minimising disruption to their daily activities. We constructed nine linear metres of sound-insulated plasterboard walls and added stylish paint-grade doors, combining function.
Upgrades included 10m² of carpet tiles and 16m² of vinyl planks for durability, alongside new plumbing for two toilets and hand basins. We reconfigured the kitchen into a sleek 3m long space with essential amenities, and added a melamine storage cabinet to conceal the electrical switchboard.
We also upgraded the electrical system with six new outlets and a light exhaust combo to support modern office needs. Over the fifteen day project, we emphasised site coordination and effective waste management, ensuring clear communication throughout.
